Period 2
English
Daily Blogger
December 8th

As I enter second period, which is English I am still a little tired. But as soon as Mrs. Morrow greeted us with a warm welcome I was little more excited for today’s English class. Mrs. Morrow then told us to get out our poetry folders for the day and to go to the warm up page, as we usually have been doing for the past couple weeks. We then wrote about what makes Nebraska beautiful, and what is and what does Nebraska mean to you?
:Photo on 12-8-14 at 8.35 PM.jpgWe then went and looked on the site Nebraskaproject.com and watched a couple video clips on what things are important in Nebraska to people around the world. Maybe it was our football team, our small towns, or beautiful land. We also watched a Rachel Price video that is called “Little Nebraska Town”. It describes how Rachel who is becoming viral every minute started off in this wonderful little Nebraska town, and this is the best moments that ever started.Macintosh HD:Users:izabelkleinberg:Desktop:Screen Shot 2014-12-09 at 10.47.21 PM.png
Mrs. Nordby then ended the wonderful English class with all of the assignments that need to be on your blog by tomorrow. You must not forgot any. They all will count as a grade, and will bring up your grade. Remember to finish strong the last couple weeks, the end of the quarter is near. :Photo on 12-8-14 at 9.10 AM.jpg

Thinking about snow...

Acrostic Poem
                                    Wondering around in the cold
In the glittering snow
      Never slipping or falling
                                      Thinking about sleep
Eating hot soup

Rolling in the snow!!

Winter is.. By: Izabel

Winter is…
Winter is playing
Making a snowman
I wouldn’t choose to try running
If you ever want to be a foeman
It’s a good time for inside
Maybe drinking hot chocolate
Watch for the ice you might slide
If you sell so cocoa you will make a profit
Because Winter Is cold
Winter is fun
I would rather be in the sun.

Faith In The Blind Sight By; Izabel

FAITH
By: Izabel Kleinberg
THE BLIND SIDE OF THINGS.

Having the complete trust or confidence in someone or something is the reason we accomplish things, is with faith. In my life faith is a big thing. Everything about it is pleasing, what it does for you and what it can help you accomplish. Just as it says in Mark 9:23 and I quote “ If you can’?” said Jesus. Everything is possible for the ones who believe.” And I quote. You can choose to have faith in yourself and everyday life, nobody can push you too not only think, but believe that you are going to pursue your dream, but having faith will help.
In the movie all of the kids and leaders, each and everyone of them had faith. They all wanted to climb that mountain successfully without one person failing. The leaders had the faith of taking blind kids up one of the highest summits, with knowing that people that can see have troubles and in some cases died, but they still let these kids fill that they are human just like everyone else and even a blind person can do something a person with all five senses can do. The blind kids had the faith to take the risk of knowing that they might die or get hurt horribly or maybe never make it half way. Some kids didn’t make it all the way but with their faith they made it as far as their bodies could take them. Their faith was just like all of their confidence.
Faith relates to my life because I have to have faith in everything I do in everyday life. Without faith in my life then how would I be happy, or believe in the accomplishments that I want to have in the future or even tomorrow. Faith in life is important just as it was

American Freedom is Important!!

Izabel Kleinberg
Language class
Period #2

How do you represent that you and the United States are free? How do you treat this freedom and what do you do to let others know that you are free? What do you do with this freedom. I can remember why I’m free and that I have freedom because of WWII, slavery, and the 4th of July.
World War II is a important reason we are free because of the troops that fought for us to become the state we are today, the free country with independence. The deadliest war ever was a great victory for us and it gave us rights. There were many things that happened in World War Two with many people killed. A couple of things that happened in World War II that helped this country was the bomb of Pearl Harbor, D-Day, and The battle of Iwo Jima. I am so proud of the troops that fought for us in the war, and I give a big thank you to them for their service.
Have you ever thought of slavery other than abuse, maybe not? People were forced to do work for other humans for 7 years or even for life. They were not aloud to learn how to read or write. They would get beat if they would try to escape, they didn’t have freedom of speech. Now we can read anything we want with people encouraging and teaching us how. Slaves are a big big reason we have Freedom today with people that have gotten beat for us and took the sacrifice. Slavery to me means that people can be free because of the labor they did and the with the price comes a great victory.
Fireworks, bang boom, and red, white, and blue in the air. This celebration of our Freedom is called The Fourth Of July, where you shoot off fireworks as if they are bombs going off just as in the war. When you say the pledge of allegiance think of the troops that are serving for us now and think of this as a prayer for them and a big thank you. Watching all of the fireworks and people smiling is great to see, better than seeing people cry and fight in the war. Next time you shoot off a firework for the Fourth of July while you spend with your family and friends remember that that firework could have been the bomb that made our country a free country.
Freedom to me means that you have many things you can take place in and do freely, although you are having lots of responsibilities. After you have read this, does this take a place in your heart for the soldiers? I know it has took a spot in my heart. Is Freedom more important to you now? What does

Freedom mean to you, and how will you show it? Show your freedom and respect our troops!

There was an old woman

There was an old woman NAMED BLUE

SO SHE ATE BAMBOO

Because she didn’t know what else to do.

Halloween At Hogwarts

Language Class
Second Period
Harry Potter Description
By; Izabel Kleinberg
As soon as I found my friends Harry and Ron we sprinted to the lecture hall so anxious to see all of the decorations and taste all of the wonderful food. When we got to the lecture hall the doors magically opened and I smelt all of the delicious food, the smell was so strong that I could taste the savory taste. You could hear the thumping of the bats wings, and the whistling of the all of the voices that are filling the Hall.
The Hall was so spooky but in an elegant way. There were floating candles above each seat and floating jack-o-lanterns right beneath the open ceiling with flashing lightning. Once in a while you would fill a ghost slip through you. It was a little creepy that the head table was watching you eat and making sure that the bats don’t get out of hand.
We sat at our table and then orange tinted plates became before us and bats flew down in front of our face and dropped all different kinds of food all looking, and smelling wonderful but a little different. The food that we usually eat in the hall is good but this looks amazing. There was random delicious choices of foods like pumpkin pie, steak, shrimp, candy corn on a cob mashed potatoes and gravy, and something very odd pizza with scream cheese. The food was bursting with greatness.
When we were all done eating the appetizers on our plates disappeared and new plates appeared with pumpkin pie, cherry pie, chocolate pie, and scream cheese pie. I could only eat the pumpkin pie, and a slight bite of the chocolate pie. After I was so stuffed that I think I ate my weight in food, again our plates disappeared and the lights went off and all of the decorations shut off and everyone left the Hall in a scurry manner so they can go to the Halloween Ball.  My friends and I had a blast and I know that when we have another Halloween party we will for sure go to it.

My Personal Brand

Three things I learned about this project were:

That I noticed that i am very happy for the little things in my life.
I noticed that making a project takes a lot of work.
And I also noticed that I have things about me I didn't even notice.

Izabel's An unforgettable day

Izabel Kleinberg
English 7- Period 2

                                            An Unforgettable Day

In the gym, no air conditioning, At least 15 girls running. The coach, “Hustle, Hustle, Hustle!” No stopping 5 minutes straight, Bump, set spike. “Nice foot work”, “Keep going.” Stretching, practicing.
The first day terrified. New school, new coaches, new rotations, blue eagle’s jerseys. Everything new. When starting we work on everything, little things that matter in the game like foot work, bumping, setting, and spiking no matter. I was scared to ask for help like with my serving for example, not that the coaches aren't nice they are wonderful but having the feeling of just not wanting to get help, even when i needed it.
Finally I started to get the hang of it it was becoming easier and easier. Running was getting effortless, bumping, setting, spiking, but i noticed that I still needed help with my serving even though it was getting harder I needed to ask about what I could do to get a better serving arm. The first game was in a couple days my serve is better, after the coach gave me ideas on what to do. I am so thrilled that I know I can depend on my coach and now my serve.
As soon as practice is all done and my game is tomorrow I will never forget bump, set, spike. But I will always know now that it is okay it ask for help even if it is scary. My coach would not of kicked me off the team or not let me play. It was scary and I was terrified but it paid off to ask for the help. I will never forget this valuable lesson.

English 7 Period 2

                                                          My Bedroom Writing

Here is my bedroom, when I walk into my room after school to do my homework, i lay on my super comfy bed with my favorite pink, sparkly sheets. If I don't need to use my computer I put my computer on my marble nightstand that used to be my great aunt’s. When I get up I see my glossy brown dresser which has all my stuff on it, like my favorite lava lamp. I got this lava lamp for Christmas 3 years ago. It is a dark purple and a pink with a blue water background.

When I explore a little more I see my bookstand with all my favorite books. Which each and every book has something I enjoy reading. With all my of my track and field day ribbons on the top of the bookstand. From anywhere from 1-5 place ribbons. I also have a colorful dream catcher that my mom made me when I was 2 yrs. old. I have had this for a long time. When I look on the next shelf on my bookstand I see my old brown jewelry box that used to be my Great Grandma’s. I got this box when my Great grandma died and after my mom had it. This specific box is an antique. It is brown, made from smoothed wood, and is very old. I am rich beyond measure.
